When you send a booking request, we get what you type into the form:

• your name and Instagram handle (so we can DM you)
• your email, if you add one
• the day and time you’d like, if you pick one
• the service you want, your area and, if you add it, your neighborhood
• how you found us, and anything you write in the message box
• your age range (under 16, 16–17 or 18+)

The form also notes which website sent you here (for example TikTok or Google) and any campaign tag in the link you clicked. That tells us which posts bring people in. We don’t use tracking pixels or advertising cookies.

Like any website, the services that host the site and the database keep basic technical logs (such as your IP address and browser) to keep things running and secure.

If you leave a review on the Reviews page, we get your review and, if you add it, your name. Once we approve a review, it shows publicly on the site with the name you gave.

To reply to you, set up your appointment, and understand how people hear about us so we can spend our time on what works. Nothing else.

Only our team. Your request is stored in a private database (Supabase) that only our team can read, and the website runs on Vercel. They store and process the data for us and don’t use it for anything else. We don’t sell or share your details with anyone.

We keep a booking request for up to 12 months after we last talked, so we can look back at your past appointments. We go through old requests regularly and delete anything older than that.

Deleted requests can stay in the database provider’s short-term backups for a little while before they’re gone for good.

Email us at sompednyc@gmail.com or DM @sompednyc and ask us to delete your request, or to tell you what we have. We’ll do it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.

We only book clients aged 16 and up. If you’re under 16, the form won’t send and nothing is saved. If you’re 16 or 17, we’ll need a quick call or text with a parent or guardian before booking, so we’ll ask you for their number in DMs. We only use your details, and theirs, to book you and to get that consent. A parent or guardian can also ask us to delete them.

You can request an appointment through the form, by email or by DM. Either way, your appointment is always confirmed from our Instagram, @sompednyc. If someone else messages you claiming to be us, it isn’t.

If we change how we handle your details, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
